Every time I actually *go* there, beauty of this place takes my breath away. And this time wasn’t an exception — not for a second.

30 октября. День 1
Вернее, ночь. Мой самолет взлетел около 7 часов вечера — как раз тогда, когда мои друзья проходили таможню. Так что до самого приземления я оставался в полном неведении об их судьбе.
Как оказалось, волновался я не зря: несмотря на то, что ежедневно из Лос Анжелеса в Лас Вегас летит более 300 самолетов, все они рано или поздно заканчиваются. И уж кто еще как не американские авиакомпании преуспели в вытягивании денег из несчастных путешественников: они поставят тебя к стенке, вывернут твои карманы наизнанку и заберут последние копейки ради своей алчной выгоды. И потом еще потребуют “спасибо” за свои услуги. Если и есть в Америке больше воплощение капитализма, чем авиакомпании, то это надо поискать.
В общем, я остался один в Лас Вегасе, а мои друзья зависли в Лос Анжелесе. В принципе, я все равно жутко устал и поэтому день заканчивается быстро на моей мягкой постельке в отеле.

Clearly, Delicate Arch is the most beautiful arch I’ve ever seen. At first site it’s not quite impressive — since I’ve seen so many pictures of it that actually, pretty correct. But after a while you get mesmerized by it, completely consumed by its size and geometry.
I bet that day I ruined everyone’s photos :)))) I don’t care: it’s beautiful!
